Planisphere > Known Issues

Known Issues

Despite a good SVG support in major browsers there are still several issues in every particular browser.

Chrome

  • 140902 - the main SVG graphics cannot be saved locally.

  • 162424 - missing dots in a background in the output for printing.

  • 360176 - reverse vertical order of entries in the output for printing, e.g. constellation overview or zodiac signs (RTL only, i.e. languages with right-to-left writing direction, e.g. arabic or hebrew).

  • 360314 - incorrect alignment of the first entry in the output for printing, e.g. constellation overview or zodiac signs (RTL only).

  • 357765 - missing contextual menu.

Firefox

  • 874811 - cannot rotate the wheel properly because of returning incorrect coords. Using a workaround instead.

  • 992384 - the horizontal scrollbar is missing when graphics is zoomed in (RTL only).

Internet Explorer / Edge

  • 812307 - black areas instead of graphics in the output for printing.

  • 816419 - incorrect text alignment (RTL only).

  • 846683 - incorrect alignment of the first entry in the output for printing, e.g. constellation overview or zodiac signs (RTL only).

  • 771477 - incorrect button highlighting.
